Jones recorded over 5,000 yards in highschool alone and lead his team to 2 state games.
After highschool Jones took his talents to University of California where he played for UCLA Bruins. Surprisingly he didn't receive a bunch of offers that he earned because of his size but he made do on what he had.
Drew led Bruins in rushing all 3 years he was there.He was the 5th player in Bruins history to lead the team in rushing in 3 seasons.
Drew ended up with 3,000 plus yards there broke about 15+ records.Also had about 2,000 returning yards.
